Griggsville schools dismiss early thanks to cracked water pipes
Tue, 28 Jan 2014 18:43:25 GMT —
Cold weather cracked water pipes in Griggsville Tuesday leaving most of the town without water and forcing the early dismissal of school.
City workers are currently tending to a pair of breaks, one at a water line on the city's south side and another a water mail along State Highway 107 between the city and Perry.
Griggsville-Perry School District Superintendent Andrea Allen confirmed that the district would let students leave early Tuesday afternoon.
