The graveside service was held Monday at 10 a.m. and community members and local ministers were present to show their respect.
For many of the people in attendance, their reason for being there was to celebrate life.
Geri Graves, one of the community members present at the service said, "When I heard about these little babies, I wanted to come and help celebrate their life ... short as it was."
For others in the small crowd, the discovery of the remains hit close to home. That was the case for Pastor Justin Mosher who spoke at the burial.
"It also reminds me, as a young father, the specialness of my little ones and I hold them a little bit closer."
There has been much speculation about the cause of death for the two unborn babies. According to Mosher, that wasn't an important detail in his decision to be a part of the service.
"To me it was insignificant whether or not they were stillbirths or abortions. It was just something that needed to be done just because life is sacred."
The gravesite is near the back of the cemetery in the section designated for child and infant burials.
