F&M Bank robbery investigation

The following is a press release issued by Daniel C. Luttenegger, Chief of Police, Burlington Police Department:

On November 9, 2009 at approximately 9:59am, a bank robbery was reported at F&M Bank, 1600 Osborn Street Burlington, Iowa.

Two suspects entered the bank brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the tellers. Both suspects were described as black males in their mid to late 20 TMs, 6 TM3" to 6 TM5 TM TM tall and 170 pounds, wearing yellow hard hats, sunglasses and white dust mask on their head and face and tool belts around their waist.

The suspects left the business on foot.

The Burlington Police Department is working the investigation with the assistance of the Des Moines County Sheriff TMs Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
