Flood waters cripple NEMO roads

Missouri Department of Transportation crews are still updating drivers on the condition of NEMO roadways.
U.S. 61 between Alexandria and Keokuk, Iowa is still closed as of Monday, June 3 due to high water. Motorists traveling into Iowa should proceed north on US 27 to Wayland and continue north on US 27 through St. Francisville into Iowa.
Champ Clark Bridge reopened Sunday night after flood waters receded.
A number of other roads also remain closed.
US 61 - at Alexandria approximately 2.4 miles east of US 136 near the Des Moines River Bridge
Route B - closed Flood Gates Installed just north of Canton
Route M - east of MO 79 between Elsberry and Winfield at Mississippi River
Route N - east of MO 79 Winfield at Mississippi River
MO 94 - at Bluffton from Bluffton Road east almost 1 mile
MO 79 - South of Louisiana - Low areas near Buffalo Creek beginning near city limits of Louisiana South Carolina to Delaware Streets to approximately south of Route D
MO 79 - South of Clarksville - Mississippi River over bottom land - closed at various locations from south City Limits of Clarksville near Eagles Bluff Golf Course to just north of Route H at Annada
Route P - east of levee at the Mississippi River Access
MO 94 - from 1 mile east of the Montgomery County line to Treloar
