      Five Quincy and Chicago residents arrested in drug investigation

      Joseph Abbey, of Quincy, was arrested for participation in methamphetamine production, delivery of cocaine, delivery of heroin, and possession of methamphetamine

      The Adams County Sheriff's office is reporting a series of arrests for methamphetamine and heroin.

      Three Quincy residents and two Chicago residents are lodged in the Adams County Jail.

      Joseph Abbey, of Quincy, was arrested for participation in methamphetamine production, delivery of cocaine, delivery of heroin, and possession of methamphetamine.

      David Hedrick, of Quincy, and Valerie Williams, of Quincy, were arrested for possession of heroin.

      Lamishaya Kelly, of Chicago, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. And John Kelly, of Chicago, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear theft of motor vehicle parts.

      All arrested were at located at 726 North 4th in Quincy.

      The search warrants were the result of a two month long narcotics investigation.
