The K Of C Barbecue ends after announcing raffle winners at 9 p.m.

Organizers of the event say this year had higher attendance than in the past.

The Carnival Rides broke records in the amounts of people riding.

Chairperson Krista Mast said they went through more food than usual as well.

She said thousands of people attended this year's event.

Mast said this festival acts as a way to wrap up the summertime.

"I think last year we had one rainy night. So the weather definitely helped. This year has been awesome. And the event itself has helped a lot with getting everybody out here and the volunteers have been amazing. We couldn't do it without the volunteers coming out and being willing to help us out," Mast said.

Funds raised benefit not only the Knights of Columbus, but other organizations around Quincy that are in need of financial support.
