While we are waiving goodbye to summer, it is important that we properly welcome in the fall.
The Quincy Parks Department did just that Saturday morning at Upper Moorman Park.
Families attended the Fall Fest at the batting cages.
Visitors could play a number of different games.
Some of the activities included a mini putt challenge, a batting cage challenge, a game of bags or washers, and paddle boat races.
Kids were also able to get their faces painted.
The purpose of this festival is to show people the fun times ahead in the fall.
This was the first year of the Fall Fest.
They decided to host this after having such a successful Winter Fest last year.
