A former student teacher at an elementary school in the Mississippi River city of Quincy has pleaded not guilty to drug counts and charges of sexual misconduct involving a teenage boy.
Thirty-six-year-old Darrold Frisbie's attorney entered the pleas Wednesday on his behalf on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, delivery of a controlled substance, and possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say Frisbie was a Quincy University student teaching at Adams Elementary School.
Frisbie was arrested last month after police investigated the teenager's complaint.
Authorities also allege Frisbie gave prescription pain medication to juveniles.
Frisbie is free on bond and scheduled to appear again in court June 17.
