Drug arrests result of ISP-TRT investigation

An illegal drug delivery operation has been shut down in McDonough County.
Four people have been arrested on numerous charges.
Ora Shannon was arrested for a total of seven drug and weapons charges, including failure to register as a sex offender, manufacture and delivery of cannabis, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance (Klonapin, Lyrica, Vicodin and Gabapenpin), possession of certain dogs by a felon, possession of ammunition without a FOID card, possession of drug paraphernalia and a McDonough County failure to appear.
Dawn Shannon arrested for possession of cannabis, and Vincent Farrar was arrested on drug and possession of a certain dog by a felon charges.
A juvenile was also arrested, but released to a guardian.
The Illinois State Police Tactical Response Team (ISP-TRT) served a search warrant at 677 North Jackson in Bushnell on Friday.
The search warrant was a result of a joint investigation by Sheriff's deputies and officers from the Bushnell, Macomb, Colchester and Blandinsville police departments.
More charges are expected as a result of this investigation.
