Ralls County officials are trying to find new ways to gain more tourists.
Director of the Missouri Division of Tourism, Katie Steele Danner, stopped in New London Friday touring their new Driving Trail.
The driving trail is a route along Ralls County's historical places such as Spalding Springs and Saverton.
Danner met with other county officials to discuss ways to improve Ralls County Tourism.
Katie Steele Danner says she wants tourists to come see how beautiful historical Ralls County is.
"We would love to have people come spend some time and vacation and really bring their families. This is a multigeneration attraction area but we want to keep multigenerations in the area. We need some economic development to get that done and tourism can provide that spark," Danner said.
