Skaters are looking for a place to ride in Quincy.
A concert and silent auction was held Saturday night in Ursa at the Spirit Knob Winery to try and help fund a skate park in Quincy.
Adams County Skate non-for-profit put on the event.
Adams County Skate hopes to raise fifty thousand dollars for the skate park.
If they reach their goal, they hope they can get grants to match their funds.
This will help reach the one hundred thousand dollar park they already have planned.
Petra St. Hill of Adams County Skate says it would be a great thing for the community.
"The kids really need a place to go and skateboard. They get ticketed on the streets and its becoming pretty much very risky for drivers and pedestrians. We would like to make a safe place for them to skateboard", St. Hill said.
Donations can be made directly to the park foundation at Quincy Park District.
