Debate Night: All eyes on Obama, Romney

All eyes will be on President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney on debate night tonight.

All eyes will be on President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney on debate night tonight.

The Wednesday night debate at the University of Denver in Colorado is the first of three Presidential debates scheduled for October and it takes place from 8-9:30 p.m. CST.

Topics to be discussed include the economy, health care, the role of government and finally governing. Moderator and PBS Newshour Executive Editor Jim Lehrer was responsible for the selection of the debate topics.

Both sides have been hard at work preparing for the debates with good reason as more and more voters will simultaneously watch and take to the web and social media for coverage and to check the facts.
