Today we are going to make a centerpiece for your holiday table made of things you have around the house.
First if you don't have floral oasis you'll need to get some at any local discount store. carve a hole big enough for a candle in it and then soak the oasis in water for 24 hours.
Cut the oasis into the shape of the cereal bowl, mixing bowl or container you intended it for and place it inside. Be sure to add water every day!
Then gather some branches and pieces of landscaping from your backyard, as well as pine cones and sweet gum tree seeds, or possibly some old ornaments. Cut the branches down to a small size and place them in the oasis so the branches can drink. Attach them to some wire and then use the wire as a flower stem to attach it to the arrangement.
When you are done you have a beautiful arrangement for your table!
