The site of what was once one of the largest Christian music festivals in the nation has been sold for nearly $2 million.
The festival's organizers, Jesus People USA of Chicago, recently sold most of the 670 acres of property near Bushnell which was once the site of the Cornerstone Music Festival.
The final festival took place last year. The church ended the festivals due to high costs.
The church's business manager says that it will use the proceeds from the sale to help advance the cause of the ministry.
