Motorists who travel on Illinois Highway 24 will be happy to know the road work will be finished by late next week.
Karl Kroshinsky, a construction field engineer with IDOT district 6 says the work is wrapping up on removing and replacing two culverts over the Frazier Creek Tributary and a drainage ditch.
The $685,000 project awarded to County Contractors of Quincy was started back on July 23.
The contract was part of a nearly $3 million capital investment program announced by Governor Quinn last March.
