New details have now emerged in the case of a former Clark County Circuit Clerk facing felony theft charges.
An audit of the circuit clerk's office reveals more than $12,000 in court funds were misappropriated or went missing during Mary D. Jones' time in office.

Police arrested Jones in June.
She resigned from her position last year when her office underwent a state audit into its finances after an anonymous complaint was made to the Missouri Supreme Court.
Her next hearing is September 8.
