      Christmas in July for QUEST

Their display at Farm and Home in Quincy features everything the organization needs to make sure they can fulfill their mission statement.

Quincy Equestrian Services and Therapy, better known as QUEST is bringing the Christmas spirit to the Tri-States.

The organization hopes to raise money to fund their efforts to rehabilitate horses and provide therapeutic services for those who need them.

"For children and individuals that have had some problems in their lives, be it emotional or physical, things like that. To get on horse and just have a good day, a nice ride, feel the cadence of the horse, just to relax, it's a lot better than what they've probably gone through for the whole day, maybe having feeding tubes and treatments, things like that. They get to come and just actually enjoy themselves for an hour, and they don't even sometimes realize how therapeutic it is for them," QUEST Volunteer Terry Anderson said.

"We are a 501(c)3, not for profit, so all of our funding has to be raised through donations or grants," Anderson said.

It goes to show that you don't have to be a love horses to support those that do.

The fundraiser will continue through July 15th.

After that date, if you'd like to donate or volunteer your time, contact QUEST or visit their website.
