Charge dropped for Lewis County school bus driver

Logan was one of nearly 30 people injured after a bus overturned in rural Lewis County.

The driver behind the wheel during a Lewis County school bus crash that happened in April appeared in court Monday morning.

John Logan, 62, faced a misdemeanor for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway.

A judge cited a lack of evidence in the case Monday and the charge was dropped.

Logan was one of nearly 30 people injured after a bus overturned near the intersection of Highway C and Juniper Avenue in rural Lewis County.

He was able to return to work the next week following the crash.
