Carefully making the trek back to school

Watch out for school zones.

Summer vacation has came to an end for students in the Tri-States. The Quincy streets were packed with vehicular and foot traffic as students are heading back to class.

Schools are back in full swing for Fall Semester.

The number of students at some Quincy schools are up from the previous years.

As the numbers of students are growing for area schools, one young man is taking his time getting to school.

Seventh grader Bradley Eston says he is careful about making his trek to school on foot.

"I walk to school because my house is just down the street. I am being safe because once you get to some of the streets there are lots of traffic. Sometimes they don't watch for kids," Eston said.

Just a reminder.

Watch out for school zones.

And stay off your cell phone while driving.
