Car vs. motorcycle crash in Hannibal, motorcyclist flown to Missouri hospital

Hannibal Police Officers responded to a car and motorcycle crash Thursday night shortly before 9 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene in the 600 block of Center Street, they found that the driver of the passenger car, 46-year-old Christina S. Conlin of Hannibal was driving the wrong way on Center Street and struck the motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 57-year-old Hannibal resident, suffered significant injuries and was flown to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Conlin was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold at the Marion County Jail, pending charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Assault 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Conlin's passenger, 22-year-old Geronica A Blakenship of Hannibal was also arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Blakenship was released pending prosecutor review.

This incident remains under investigation.
