Car used in hit-and-run comes up stolen

A Florida man now faces burglary charges in connection to an early morning hit and run.
Quincy Police Sgt. Adams Yates tells KHQA that officers responded to a hit-and-run call around 3:45 a.m., Friday near 6th and Elm.
Police say multiple cars were damaged.
The car involved in the incident was later found running and abandoned near 6th and Maple.
After searching the area officers found and arrested Richard Russell, 35, of Florida near 8th and Sycamore.
Police later determined that the car used in the hit and run was stolen from the area of 9th and Broadway.
The owner of the car has since been contacted.
Russell now faces a burglary charge.
He remains in the Adams County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
