An SUV crashed into a downtown Quincy business late Wednesday afternoon.
The Quincy Police Department says the SUV, driven by Mary Douglas of Quincy, was traveling east on Maine Street when she ran a stoplight at 6th and Maine.
Douglas's vehicle crashed into a van driven by Kelley Stice of Quincy who was traveling north on 6th Street.
Douglas's SUV ended up crashing through a fire hydrant and into a window of the Everything and the Kitchen Sink on the northeast corner of the intersection.
The business's owner, Cindy Rossiter, told KHQA she arrived at her store Wednesday evening after being out of town for several hours.
She pulled up to find police cars and a vehicle sticking out of her business.
"First, I was worried if someone got hurt," Rossiter said. "Then, I was worried about everything that was in the store."
Rossiter said a whole set of furniture that was in the section of the damaged store was just sold and picked up Wednesday morning.
Stice was taken to Blessing Hospital for minor injuries.
