This weekend, you have the chance to celebrate Halloween a little early and help a good cause.
KHQA is proud to help sponsor the fifth annual Cadan's Carnival at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Quincy. It's a day of fun for families that raises money for CDH research at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

In 2008, Rome and Tiffany Frericks, of Quincy, lost their infant son to CDH.
The following fall, they established Cadan's Carnival.
Doctors at St. Louis Children's say because of the money raised at the carnival, fatality rates from CDH have dropped dramatically.
As for the carnival, there will be games, bounce houses, and much more to entertain you and your family.
"It's a wonderful time. It's very reasonable. Everybody can afford it, and they raise money for research, so it's a win, win for everybody," Tiffany Frericks, Cadan's mom said .
Cadan's Carnival will be held on Sunday, October 20 from one to five at the K of C grounds on South 36th Street.
