Buddies Help Buddies to surpass goal for Food Drive

The Teens in Motion "Be a Buddy" Canned Pasta Drive was started to help the Hannibal Alliance for Youth Success Program (HAYES) and the Families and Communities Together Program (F.A.C.T.) fill BuddyPacks to help provide nutritious and easy to fix meals and snacks for kids when school is not in session.

The Teens in Motion "Be a Buddy" Canned Pasta Drive was started to help the Hannibal Alliance for Youth Success Program (HAYES) and the Families and Communities Together Program (F.A.C.T.) fill BuddyPacks to help provide nutritious and easy to fix meals and snacks to kids when school is not in session.

A goal of 2,000 cans was set.

With the help of Hannibal Public Schools, the School Board Office, Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department, Hannibal Board of Public Works, Douglass Community Services, Homebank and County Market, the TIM kids brought in 2,500 cans.

Hannibal Middle School 7th grade student Rylee McAfee brought in the most cans.

Hannibal Board of Public Works raised 500 cans and also helped the teens unload all the collected cans at the F.A.C.T. office.
