Bond is $1,000,000 for Diaz

The man wanted for first degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting at a Quincy Hardee's two weeks ago made his first court appearance in Adams County today.

28 year old Philip Diaz was appointed a public defender and his bonds remains at $1,000,000.

U-S Marshall's found and arrested Diaz in Chicago on Saturday night.

He's charged with first degree murder in the death of Ian Barksdale,38 on May 23rd at Hardee's on Broadway in Quincy.

Diaz will be back in court with his attorney Ed Downey on Tuesday.
