Bomb threat spurs Quincy CVS evacuation

A caller demanding money on prepaid credit cards threatened to blow up a Quincy drug store.

The call came into CVS pharmacy on Broadway shortly before noon Friday.

The store manager contacted Quincy police and the store was evacuated so that law enforcement could search the building, Lt. Jason Simmons said.

The store remained closed for about 30 minutes during the investigation.

There were no explosive devices located in the store.
