A northeast Missouri teen was arrested Tuesday, suspected of writing a note containing a bomb threat that was found at Macon High School on Halloween.
Macon police announced Tuesday that the department's school resource officer at Macon R-1 had taken an 18-year-old white male into custody around 9:30 Tuesday morning in connection with the threatening note.
KTVO's John Garlock reports that the teen was taken to the police department for processing and he is being held in the Macon County Jail on 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.
No explosive devices were found on the Macon School Campus during a search by law enforcement agencies last Thursday afternoon.
The suspect's name is being withheld until charges are filed.
