Lewistown, Missouri residents will be under a boil order a little bit longer.
The city has extended the current boil order again until Friday, April 4 at midnight.
The original boil order was issued on Wednesday the 26th after a water main break. Then the boil order was extended through April 2.
The extensions come as one of the tests of the water detected coloform bacteria.
Though normally not harmful, the city is extending the boil order as a safety precaution until a clean test comes back.
