A barge that was stuck under the railroad drawbridge in Louisiana, Missouri is now free.
An official with the St. Louis Upper Mississippi River sector confirmed to KHQA that the channel at the bridge is now open.
The barge broke away from a tug at mile marker 282 at around 4 o'clock Tuesday morning.
A Coast guard spokesman says tugs owned by Marquette Transportation were used to free the barge.
High water was a contributing factor to the incident.
