Bank of America closing Quincy branches

Bank of America says that its two branches is Quincy, Illinois will close.

The move comes as part of a nationwide downsizing of branch locations.

We spoke with Bank of America spokeswoman Diane Wagner who said that the company announced last summer that it would shutter nearly one thousand branches nationwide.

The two Quincy locations will close May 30. This includes the removal of ATMs at both locations.

She would not say how many employees would be affected by the quincy closures.
