      Audrain County crash injures four

An Audrain County crash sent four people, including two babies, to the hospital Monday.

According to KRCG in Jefferson City, the crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. on route J, a half mile mile north of Audrain County Road 3-40.

The Highway patrol says 16-year-old Harlie Tapley of Vandalia suffered a medical condition while driving. That medical condition caused Tapley's car to steer off the road, hit a tree, an embankment, then finally came to a stop in a creek.

Tapley and two baby boys were both taken to University hospital with minor injuries.

30-year-old Crystal Waters, also of Vandalia, was taken by helicopter to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
