After five years, America's hometown finally reconnects with a big part of its back story.
The Becky Thatcher House from the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum reopened Saturday.
The house was under repairs for the past few years.
These repairs were funded through grants, tax credits and donations from more than 200 sources.
Temporary exhibits currently fill the home, but the museum is working on permanent ones.
Saturday's grand opening included a ribbon cutting and a skit put on by local interpreters for the Thatcher House.
