Alleged Weapon Wielding Woman Identified
QUINCY, IL —
A woman arrested Sunday for allegedly assaulting a tow truck driver with a weapon was identified by the State's Attorney's Office Thursday.
Adam's County State's Attorney Gary Farha said he plans on filing charges against 32 year old Sarah Mayfield of Quincy with aggravated assault.
Mayfield was arrested Sunday by the Adams County Sheriff's Department after allegedly confronting a tow truck driver with a weapon in Rancho Vista Trailer Park.
The sheriff's department said Mayfield eventually drove away from the scene with the cable still attached to the vehicle causing damage to the tow truck.
