Police: Alderman causes traffic crash, arrested for DUI
On April 20th, shortly before 10 p.m., deputies with the Adams County Sheriff's Office responded to a traffic crash at 4th and Hampshire.
Paul G. Havermale, 51, was arrested for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and for a DUI.
Havermale was transported to the Adams County Jail where he posted bond.
The driver of the second vehicle, 24-year-old Jasmine L. Jackson-Morgan, suffered minor injuries.
Havermale is a Quincy City Council Alderman for Ward 3.
