Afternoon crash snarles traffic near Camp Point

A two car crash near Camp Point left parents and students stuck in traffic along Highway 94 near the Highway 24 junction Thursday afternoon.

It happened shortly after 2 p.m.

The Adams County sheriff's office says 21-year-old Courtland Rigg from Clayton was driving south on 94 when a 16-year-old female driver tried to pass him.

The sheriff's office says Rigg then swerved in front of the teen driver, causing both vehicles to collide.

The two drivers were taken to Blessing Hospital but were not hurt.
