A moment of silence to remember lives lost in Boston

Each year in May, runners take on the Bridge the Gap Marathon in Quincy.
In light of Monday's tragedy, race organizers decided to honor the lives lost at the Boston Marathon.
Every Saturday, people attend a practice session to prepare for the big run.
Carrie Kimber is the Bridge the Gap director. She said this Saturday they will do things differently.
People will attend at service at the Kroc Center at 9 a.m., and pray for those lost in the tragedy.
They will then begin practicing, but for the first mile, they will practice in silence.
This serves as a moment of silence for those affected at the Boston Marathon.
Kimber said this will show that the terrorists haven't dampened their spirits.
The Bridge the Gap race will be held May 18th.
Kimber said anyone is welcome to attend Saturday's service.
