7 arrested in McDonough County Warrant Round-up

An investigation lasting two months resulted in 7 arrests by the West-Central Illinois Drug Taskforce and the McDonough County Drug Unit.

McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker reports the arrests of 5 individuals:

Joshua J. Lafary, 34, of Bushnell

Anthony R. Hall, 31, of Bushnell

Danielle M. Uribe-Hall, 29, of Bushnell

Heather D. Daniels, 35, of Bushnell

Marvin L. Taylor, 64, of Prairie City

Spencer W. Bright, 31, of Bushnell

Angel M. Daniels, 33, of Bushnell


On February 22, 2016 the McDonough County Sheriff's Office, West-Central Illinois Drug Taskforce, Macomb Police Department, Bushnell Police Department and the Western Illinois Office of Public Safety conducted a Warrant Round-up.

Both agencies went to multiple locations in Bushnell to execute arrest warrants for Unlawful Procurement of Meth Precursors.

Deputies and Taskforce Agents encountered Bright and Angel Daniels while trying to locate Heather Daniels at a 453 East Twyman Street apartment building.

Bright and Angel Daniels were both found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Spencer W. Bright was charged with possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Angel M. Daniels was charged with possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Heather D. Daniels was charged with Unlawful Procurement of Meth Precursors.


Heroin was also recovered from a Bushnell residence at 257 North Sperry Street where Hall and Uribe-Hall resided.

Both consented to the search.

The Heroin was located under a child's mattress and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) was notified.

Joshua J. Lafary was charged with Unlawful Procurement of Meth Precursors, possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Cannabis under 2.5 grams.

Marvin L. Taylor was charged with Unlawful Procurement of Meth Precursors.

Anthony R. Hall was charged with Unlawful Procurement of Meth Precursors and possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin).

Danielle M. Uribe-Hall was charged with Unlawful Procurement of Meth Precursors and possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin).
