$6M district renovation in Macomb
MACOMB, Il. —
An Illinois School District is about to receive some major upgrades.
The Macomb School District is making $6 million worth of renovations.
The first project aims to expand Edison Elementary School by adding six classrooms and a larger cafeteria.
The second project will renovate the science labs and honors writing lab in Macomb High School.
The last renovation will create a multi-purpose turf field.
The school's superintendent says the bonds will be issued as early as May.
