It's never too early to start planning your funeral
Planning for your funeral or the burial services of a loved one might not be the first thing on your mind, however maybe it should be.
Some professional funeral directors are suggesting to start planning early when it comes to your funeral service since waiting could turn into several unforeseeable problems down the road.
Even if you prefer to wait, thinking about the burden that will be left on your family is encouraged to be a motivator for early preparation.
"You will find that your death and transition will go better for the family, but also you will know what will actually happen," said Lamporte Funeral Home Director, Joseph St. Clair.
Thinking about the future doesn't mean you have to stress yourself with finances since you can easily make arrangements and get estimates without having to spend a dime.
"You don't have to pay for it if you just come in and talk to someone about what you want done, there are some document's that you can sign that will hold your wishes not absolutely legal but at least a guide for your family to follow," explained St. Clair.
