      Tips to look younger longer

Glori Traeder, a certified Nurse Practitioner with Quincy Medical Group, says the skin under your eye is as thin as a dollar bill and just as sensitive.

The eyes are the first thing you normally notice about someone's face. But they're also a place you'll see signs of aging the earliest.

Glori Traeder is a certified Nurse Practitioner with Quincy Medical Group.

She says the skin under your eye is as thin as a dollar bill and just as sensitive.

Use eye creams containing retinol, and make sure to use moisturizer both day and night as well as sunscreen.

You have to be extra careful when cleansing. And when you cleanse or apply product, dab it on very gently to avoid pulling the skin.

"Think about your eyes as tissue paper. How much friction would you use to apply product or take off make-up if you were putting it on tissue paper? How easy is it to tear tissue paper? You really want to do it in a manner that's quite a bit more gentle than any place else," Traeder said.

Experts say the number one tip to help you stay looking young longer is to quit smoking. Cigarettes accelerate the aging process of all your cells.

In fact, doctors say anything you would do to enhance your skin will not be effective when you're smoking.

Below are the top seven tips to keep looking younger longer according to Traeder.
