The Missouri Department of Transportation reports that eastbound U.S. 24 across the Memorial Bridge in Quincy has reopened Thursday.
Traffic has returned to normal after the bridge was closed for five days due to flooding.
Signs and barricades have been removed.
Flooding along the Mississippi River forced the closure of several roads and bridges in different communities and IDOT and MoDOT crews will continue to closely monitor those situations as necessary to ensure the safety of area drivers.
