Quincy Community Theatre has new director

Lenny Bart, age 49, of Summit, NJ / Quincy Community Theatre

Quincy Community Theatre has a new director. Lenny Bart, age 49 of Summit, NJ has been hired to replace Dominic Cattero, who led the organization since 2004.

Bart will be relocating to Quincy in April with his wife Tricia.

Bart has managed two professional companies in the New York area. He has a broad range of directing and producing experience. Bart possesses the artistic vision and the financial management skills needed to take QCT to the next level of success, according to QCT Board President Mary Griffith.

Bart says, Quincy Community Theatre has a phenomenal facility, the equal of most professional theatres. I am incredibly excited to begin creating theatre in that space.

Bart has performed and directed in 46 states and Europe.

"Lenny Bart has a wealth of experience that fits perfectly into the QCT family. The way he works artistically fits very well with the way we were used to working with Dominic so it'll be very, very easy to mesh in to his way of doing it," said QCT Technical Director Paul Denckla.
