Fireworks around the Tri-States

We know you and your friends and family are eager to celebrate Independence Day with a bang. Here's a list of fireworks displays going on around the Tri-States.


The large Fourth of July fireworks display in Quincy has been moved to the Illinois Veterans Home on Thursday, July 4 at dusk.

Numerous Quincy streets will remain closed during the fireworks. Locust Street from 8th to 12th streets will have no parking starting at 4 p.m. Thursday until the event is concluded. The street will be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. Until the fireworks end. The city will also close 12th Street from Locust Street to Seminar road from 9:20 p.m. Until the fireworks conclude. City workers will place barricades at the intersection of closed streets.

You can catch a fireworks display at Q-U Stadium following the Quincy Gems games on Monday, July 1; Wednesday, July 3; Thursday, July 4 and Thursday, July 6.

The City of Macomb will present the Annual 4th of July Celebration Fireworks Display on Thursday, July 4 at Hanson Field Stadium on the WIU campus. Gates will open at 6 p.m.

Pine Lakes Resort in Pittsfield, Illinois will host fireworks on Thursday, July 4 at dusk.

A fireworks show will take place in Carthage at dusk at the Illini West High School Football Field on Thursday, July 4.

Warsaw will host their fireworks on Saturday, July 6 at the Warsaw Fairgrounds.

Astoria fireworks will be on Saturday, July 6 at Hughes Park.

Pleasant Hill fireworks will be held on Thursday, July 4 at dusk.


In Hannibal, you can catch the fireworks at dusk on the riverfront on Thursday, July 4.

A fireworks display will take place in Palmyra on Saturday, July 6 at dusk.

The Mark Twain Lake Rodeo will have fireworks on Saturday, July 6 at dusk.


City officials in Fort Madison, Iowa have postponed fireworks until Labor Day on Monday, September 2.

Keokuk's fireworks display will be held on Thursday, July 4 at 9 p.m. as part of the Independence Day Celebrations at Rand Park.
