Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner died after experiencing a cardiac arrest, respiratory failure after suffering with a recent bout of E. coli, according to The Blast.
The celebrity news site reports Hefner's death certificate lists the ailments, noting his E. Coli issue was "resistant to antibiotics."
Hefner's estate previously stated he died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles.
